Digital TV Research

Digital TV Research Limited was established by Simon Murray in January 2011. Simon’s extensive international industry knowledge and contacts have been built up since he began covering global media developments in 1988.

Simon has authored more than 200 forecast reports. In addition to his frequent contact with clients at the world’s key media organisations, Simon is a regular chairman and presenter at leading industry events.

Simon was previously Principal Media Analyst at Informa Telecoms and Media, with responsibility for the division that produces online intelligence centres, reports, newsletters, magazines and directories as well as undertaking in-depth customised research projects for major media players. Simon also had responsibility for developing new products.

He began working for Zenith Optimedia/Saatchi and Saatchi in 1988, building up this reports/forecasts department from scratch. This was followed by a move to Kagan World Media in 1991, to Baskerville Communications Corp in 1994, setting up their reports, forecasts and publications division. Baskerville Communications Corp was acquired by Informa in 1999.

Simon also uses his extensive industry knowledge to work alongside other experts, with these associates providing valuable insights into specific areas.
